I have a question; Do you need a vacation?
Whether it's with a group, a friend or two or simply by yourself, how often do you get to travel?
Getting a chance to travel is therapeutic and refreshing for your mental health.
Knowing that your environment and everyday routine has a huge impact on your overall mental health. As a black woman or any woman for that matter the consent hustle and bustle is nonstop. If it's from not wanting to leave the family or you just simply don't have the time-STOP and MAKE TIME.... I am here to tell you that in order to maintain a healthy mental state, traveling definitely should be on the list of things to do.
There are many reasons to why traveling for your mental health is important. Taking a vacation stimulates creativity, help adapt to challenges, boost your mood, increase personal growth and self-development. All these factors are what is needed to help maintain your mental health.
As I told you before self-care is an important factor to keep your mental health in tact. Traveling allows you to step out of your comfort zone and forces you to learn and trust your own instincts. Meet new people and explore different things.
Whether it's getting a AirBnB for the weekend in your hometown, travel to another state or travel out the country its all an amazing reason to travel. Just getting some sunshine, water or cocktail and a different scenery can turn things around.
